Sam Forencich is a film maker and photographer based in Portland Oregon. With over 35 years as a visual communicator, Sam's professional path has taken him from newspaper photojournalist, to commercial and editorial freelancer, to documentary and conceptual film maker.
Sam's photography has been widely published internationally, and his iconic photo of Dennis Rodman is recognized by Sports Illustrated as one of the 100 Greatest Sports Photos of All-Time.
As a time-lapse film maker Sam has incorporated motion control rigs, stop motion techniques, and infrared cameras to create a diverse story telling palette. His time-lapse work has been featured in commercial advertising, broadcast TV series, world music tours, and customized corporate and industrial productions.
